Beko steps into summer with award-winning dancer, Oti Mabuse, for new HarvestFresh™ campaign
As part of Beko’s largest multi-channel campaign to date, Beko have partnered with award-winning dancer, judge and TV personality Oti Mabuse, to raise awareness of our state-of-the-art HarvestFresh™ cooling technology.
The activity explores the attitudes of children and their knowledge of fruit and vegetables through fun and lighthearted content that brings to life the product benefits of HarvestFresh™, supported by PR & social media. In an amusing video, Oti talks to children about the health benefits of fruit and veg. From believing vitamins are ONLY found in tablets and not in fruit and veg, to mistaking broccoli for a fruit and spinach for cabbage.
The HarvestFresh™ technology is a first for the UK market - the innovative three-colour light technology mimics the sun’s natural 24-hour cycle, preserving vitamins A and C in fruit and vegetables for up to five days.1
Oti Mabuse, award-winning professional dancer, judge and TV personality, said:
“As someone who is very active in my day-to-day life, making sure my diet is full of fruit and vegetables is key to leading a healthy lifestyle. Working with Beko on its latest campaign has been fantastic; my fridge is always packed with fresh food. The HarvestFreshTM fridge freezer with its 3-colour light technology and ability to preserve vitamins for longer is impressive.”
“There is nothing I love more than seeing healthy and happy children, so it’s been great to hear them talking about their favourite fruit and veg as well as seeing how aware they are about the benefits of having a balanced diet.”
1 Tested by Intertek. Based on Vitamin C and Vitamin A measurements in tomatoes, green peppers, carrots, spinach, and celery directly exposed to the light technology compared with Day 0 conditions over a 5-day period.
