Beko achieves 44th place on TIME’s inaugural list of the world’s most sustainable companies

We are proud to announce that our parent company, Beko, has been recognised on TIME Magazine’s inaugural list of the World’s Most Sustainable Companies. Securing the 44th spot on the prestigious list with a score of 75.68 out of 100, we continue to establish ourselves at the forefront of sustainable manufacturing.

Beko is the highest-ranking home appliance company on the list and placed fourth overall among all companies in the “manufacturing and industrial production” sectors. This achievement highlights our commitment to implementing sustainable manufacturing methods and establishing environmentally conscious processes throughout the company.

The Most Sustainable Companies ranking assessed over 5,000 global companies using a four-step methodology including evaluating a company’s participation in recognised sustainability initiatives like Science Based Targets, the availability, quality and adherence to international standards of companies’ sustainability reports and analysing environmental and social responsibility performance indicators. Beko’s commitment is detailed in their recently published 2023 sustainability report. The 16th annual report outlines our parent company’s progress towards the ambitious goal of reaching Net Zero business by 2050.

Hakan Bulgurlu, CEO of Beko, said:

“Our ranking is a testament to the passionate commitment of our entire team. At Beko, we firmly believe that a sustainable future begins at home, with each and every one of us. This recognition from TIME and Statista fuels our drive to innovate and redefine what’s possible in our industry. Beko’s recognition by TIME and Statista is a significant milestone that celebrates our company’s achievements and reinforces our commitment to driving sustainable change.
